FAQ

How do I become a Doll?

When you submit an application, your photos will be sent out to all Board Members for review. This process will take about 2-4 weeks, but can take up to 6 weeks. After reviewing your application, we will send you a letter informing you of the status of your application.

What types of photos are you looking for in submissions?

We are looking for photos that show a good representation of who you are. Your photos should be fun, creative, & show your true beauty! If you chose to take your photos yourself, please use the timer on your camera, & make sure that the time & date stamp is off. You can also refer to our SAMPLE PHOTOS page.  Pictures taken in the mirror are not recommended.

How do I get my submission to you?

You may send your submission to recruiting@dieharddolls.com

Do I get paid being a Doll?

There is no monetary compensation for being a Doll. We do this for fun and networking opportunities.

What can I do, as a Doll, to help out?

You can help us out by promoting the DHD Fan Page, as well as our sponsors! Our sponsors help by promoting our community, so we should do the same for them. You could also help by working to create partnerships with other organizations.

There is nothing wrong with at little self promotion! Since most of our communication is through Facebook, it is a good idea to set up a Doll Fan Page for yourself. This is a fun way to get your name out there, & in turn, make DHD grow as well!

What happens if I don’t participate/ send in photos regularly?

Unfortunately, if you do not participate, send in photos regularly, or communicate with the Board Members, we will have to cut you from DHD. We require that you send in photos every three months and participate in the monthy projects and contests! You are not required to participate in ALL of them, but you must show a desire to be part of this community!

Who are the DHD Board Members?

You can follow this link ( D.H.D. Board Members ) to see a list of the Board Of Dolls

I don’t want to be a Doll anymore

Although we will miss you if you decide to leave the community we understand that life happens and sometimes change is needed.  If you no longer wish to be a Doll, please email candydoll@dieharddolls.com explaining why you want to leave the group. We will then remove all of your info & photos from our site.
